"STEM" is a commonly used acronym referring to the practice of integrating multiple subjects into a single lesson or unit in order to help students be able to access learning from those subjects and use it with their own thoughts and imagination to solve problems.
Teachers and staff at Reagan are trained to teach using STEM methods. Our goal is to help our students think critically and be able to solve problems using science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.
We are currently working with STEM experts across the state to become one of Utah's first STEM certified schools! Ask your child's teacher about becoming involved in a STEM project today. You can also check in at the front office to find out about how to get your child involved in extra curricular STEM activities such as our after school computer programming classes for elementary and middle school students offered in partnership with local experts and Utah Valley University.
