DIBELS Practice for home
Here are some fun phonics and phonemic awareness activities you can do with your child. These are great. No need to print off, just look at it on your computer or device and do some of the activities with your child.

Amplify, the provider of our school’s reading assessment (DIBELS/Acadience), created a great website with many activities you can do at home with your child. I encourage you to visit the site! It’s a free resource with great ideas on how to give your child practice with reading skills. It also has links to interactive activities for your child to complete on their own at a computer. As I looked it over, I was impressed with the engaging and different ideas they came up with for practicing different skills.
Boom Cards are a fun learning tool!
Go to Boom.cards or download the free "Boom Cards" app for your tablet.
Our favorite way to access this program is through their app!
Username: child's first name.kind Example: brenda.kind
Password: lunch number
(We have 3 students with the same name, their login is name1.kind. We have emailed these parents.)
We have noticed that is you close the app without logging out, then the next time you open the app you are still logged in, so you don't have to keep entering the login information.
Use this link and scroll down about half way through this page to find the videos for correct lowercase letter formation. Your child already knows these, but needs LOTS of reminder and practice. Letters are not plants, they do not grow from the ground! :)
