Theater supply list 2021-2022
For theater you will need: a binder with paper in it and a pencil. I would also highly recommend some highlighters if possible. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Middle School Choir Supply List 2021-2022
For choir you will need: a folder to keep your music in and a pencil. Please let me know if you cannot get your own folder and I will provide one. I would recommend a sturdy folder. We often have 8-13 pieces in there at a time.
Concert Band Supply List 2021-2022
For Concert Band you will need your instrument, "Traditions of Excellence" books 1 and 2, a black binder with 5-10 sheet protectors, and a pencil. Please let me know if you have any questions. If you are playing percussion, you will need a percussion kit with a practice pad, drumsticks, a metal glock (xylo), mallets, and a stand. (Just look on Amazon at percussion kit. You can also get them at any music store like Booth Brothers or Summerhays and even pawn shops.)

COVID 19 Precautions
COVID Precautions in Band
We have tried to make Band class as safe as possible during these times. Here is the list of precautions that we are taking in band class this year. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. My email is [email protected].
- Students will be placed 6 feet apart. We will be spread out into 2-3 rooms if necessary.
- Students will have their own music stand. They will not be permitted to share music, pencils, or anything else.
- Students will sanitize their hands when they walk in the band room door.
- Students will be required to wear their masks when they are not playing.
- Students will not pass the tuner. I will hold it for them and they will tune one at a time.
- The sewing class will help make bell covers for the brass and woodwind instruments to help contain the droplets.
- Students will sanitize their cases, chairs, hands, and stands before leaving the band room.
- We will play outside when we can with weather and time permitting.
