Mrs Rose

5th Grade

Class overview

Welcome to 5th Grade! This year we are going to work hard, grow, and have fun. I look forward to learning together!

Why Pineapples?

Pineapples are a symbol of acceptance, friendship, and hospitality. This is the type of community I foster in my classroom. The students spend a large majority of their waking day at school in my classroom. It is important to me that they feel safe, heard, valued, and loved. I encourage my students to be kind and to build each other up. We support and look out for each other. The relationships I build with students and that they build with each other are the best part of our room and makes it a great place to be.

Meet Mrs Rose

Hi! I'm Mrs. Rose. I teach 5th grade at Reagan. I’ve taught 3rd grade as well in other schools. This will be my 10th year teaching. I love teaching 5th grade. We have some great content to learn and fun activities to do. In my classroom I have high expectations and we love to laugh and have fun.

I grew up in California and graduated from BYU. I’ve been married since 2013. We’ve lived in Vermont, Arizona, and Utah during our marriage. We have three pets: two beautiful Bernese Mountain dogs named Zola and Pepper and a crazy little black cat named Mozzie. I enjoy staying active and keeping my body healthy. I also enjoy watching TV with my husband, gardening, drinking Dr Pepper, and finding delicious places to eat.
