About Me

A little bit about me …I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from BYU.  From the time that I was a little girl I always wanted to be a teacher.  I was very excited when I finally finished college and could teach.  I taught preschool for thirteen years and this is my eighteenth year teaching second grade.  I have already learned tons being here and I plan on continuing to learn.  My husband is the assistant director here at Reagan Academy.  He taught for 34 years.  We have four wonderful children that are all grown.. We are proud grandparents of our 11 grandchildren.     

          When I get a chance, I try to exercise in the early mornings before school.  I love watching movies, playing games, and finding great deals when shopping.  Of course, I enjoy reading!

My Philosophy

          I believe that students all learn in different ways and they all deserve a chance.  We start off each year fresh and what happened in another grade is in the past.  I try to teach in different ways and at different levels, so that each student can progress.  I believe that children are capable to learn much more than we even realize.  I am always amazed at how smart they are at this age!
