First Grade Math: Students are practicing facts as well as multiple strategies to add and subtract.

 

First Grade Reading: Students are learning phonics along with reading comprehension strategies. They are also practicing nonsense words for DIBELS.

Wow! Term 4 is near the end! All classes have finished testing and everyone is looking forward to a great summer. This group of kids have been absolutely delightful! I am going to miss them!

Math 1: Our class will begin doubles facts after the break! Keep practicing!

Math 3: Students are learning multiplication and division strategies. Keep practicing multiplication facts at home.

Reading 1: Students are learning phonics, progressing in fluency, and learning sight words.

First Grade Math: Thank you for your patience while we worked to get your student in the right math class. Our class is working on counting/writing numbers to 100 as well as adding.

Third Grade Math: We are beginning multiplication facts as well as learning place value and number ordering.

First Grade Reading: Our class is learning phonics along with reading strategies and fluency.

Math 1: Students are working on measurement and data. Keep practicing your facts!

Math 3: The class just finished a fun unit on fractions. Students are working on measurement and data.

Reading 1: Every single student is reading! Yahoo! The class is working on fluency as well as sight words and phonics skills.

Math 1: Students are progressing well! We are beginning some complicated skills that need a lot more practice. Please keep working on facts at home.

Math 3: Students are learning the Properties of Multiplication along with writing/recognizing variables. Keep practicing multiplication facts at home.

Reading 1: All students went up another reading level! Keep reading at home!

Math 1: Students are working on addition and subtraction facts along with doubles.

Math 3: Our class just started Chapter 5 (division). Students are doing a great job with ALEKS.com. Keep up the good work!

Reading 1: Students are working on segmenting, sight words, and fluency.

Math 1: Keep practicing addition/subtraction facts. Kudos to all students on excellent scores on the 1st math test!

Math 3: Students need to practice multiplying by 3. Homework on ALEKS.com has been assigned. Please remember that scores need to be 80% or higher.
