The following are intended assignments for the week of 3/1/2021. Things may be shifted around because of individual needs of different classes. These are posted here as a help for students that may have missed a day of class, or are missing a copy of an assignment and need to print it off at home.

Here are the Grammar sheets for Prepositions. Pgs 11-21

These are the assignments I have planned for the week of 2/8. Things are subject to change and more or less assignments may be given. Other assignments may be added later in the week. 

 

If you miss class bring assignments upon your return. If you are under quarantine assignments are due on Friday by 1pm and can be emailed. 

A quiz on Chapter 3 in The Outsiders. Be sure your written responses answer the question completely; using complete sentences and Punctuation. REMEMBER! Sentences do not start with "Because". If you do, you will lose points.

 

This Quiz is due Tuesday, February 9th by 1pm

The assignment is to write a one page response (double-spaced) about an event in your life that has helped shape you into who you are today. The event doesn't have to be something HUGE that happened to you, not all of us have those kind of things happen to us (others do and that's ok to write about too...). For example, it could be something as simple as having someone special to you help you through a hard time; it could be a book you read; a song you heard and have taken to heart. The important thing is to describe the event and how it changed you into who you are today.

The assignment may be hand-written, or typed. If typed please bring it printed out to class to turn in.

 

This assignment is due Monday, February 8.

In starting The Outsiders this week we have a pre-reading and week 1 assignments.

The pre-reading assignments are meant to act like an internet search assignment.

The week 1 assignments should be started in class but may be finished at home for homework.
