Computer Science

Reagan Academy’s mission and vision is to provide an excellent academic foundation for students that will instill a life-long love of learning.  The Computer Science component of education has become increasing important in the preparation of students for success in today’s world and for the future.  Computer Science  is “the study of computers and algorithmic processes, including their principles, their hardware and software designs, their [implementation], and their impact on society.”  An additional part of Reagan’s mission and vision is to inspire a spirit of citizenship.  Computer Science can impact the world and the people in it, in ways never once thought of before.   We have developed a plan to implement more CS lessons and courses over a 4-year period to meet his new and growing educational foundation.  We hope it opens up avenues and learning that will allow students to be creative, engaged and ready for high school and beyond.
