Fall Break!

I hope that you all have a fun and relaxing fall break next week! When we get back we are jumping into concert and play season!!

All Late Work is Due October 12th!

All Term 1 missing or late work is due on Friday, October 12th by end of the school day. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Our Flag, The Red, White and Blue for 5th graders

Here is the song "Our Flag" that we will be singing in the Veterans Day Assembly on November 12th. The students have the words. Please practice the song!

Term 1 Missing/Late work

I will be accepting Term 1 missing/late work until Friday, October 12th at 3:00 pm. Please email me if you have any questions.

Keep practicing!

Keep practicing. I recommend 10 minutes a day. That's all as long as it is a focused practice and not just goofing around. You will see a huge improvement in your students playing if they practice just 10 minutes a day. I also recommend using the IPS link that comes with their book.

Midterms!

It's midterms next week! Please log into Aspire and check your missing work! Also, if you have any questions or concerns about grades feel free to email me.

We have been reviewing concepts from last year and teaching our new band students. I love seeing these kids every day! They really start to take off once we have band every day. I recommend that they practice 10 minutes a day and that they utilize the online programs that come with their books. If you have any questions at all about IPS, please email me. This is a great way to help your student practice.
