Instruments!/IPS computer practice program
We have been working hard on learning how to take care of our instruments and how to start making noises on the mouthpieces. The percussionists also learned how to put together their stands with their practice pads. We will be starting to learn how to read music and to play our first notes together as a band. I really recommend that students practice 10 minutes a day and that they use the online resources that come in the back of their book. You can download a free app to your phone or tablet, or you can download the program to your computer. This downloads their method book on your device and allows them to practice at their speed. They will be able to hear if they are playing the right noises. This is also helpful to you parents since you will know what they are supposed to sound like.
