Ben's Pirates

Ben, a Reagan Academy 6th grader made an arrangement of Pirates of the Caribbean on Noteflight. Many in our 6th grade orchestra class have been playing it these past few weeks. Thanks for sharing with us Ben!

6th grade Assignment April 27- May 1

6th grade Orchestra students will need to complete two assignments this week that they should have been practicing for the last few weeks.  They need to video themselves performing any 20 measures of "Conquest" and send the video to me or they may perform for the Wednesday zoom conference.   The second part of the assignment is that they need to click on the String Basics Book 1 test on this website and complete the google quiz.  These are all due by this Friday May 1st by 4pm.

Quarantine by Sarah Snelson

Sarah, an 8th grader at Reagan Academy, composed this song on Noteflight (a composing program) we use at Reagan Academy. It is one of the songs we have been playing together online during our video conferencing classes. This is just one example of the fine compositions students are producing during this time. Nice job Sarah!

If you choose this option for this week, then what you do is turn to page 44 in your Red String Basics Book 1 and choose any exercise from ex. 224 - 230 and put it into Noteflight.  You only need to do one exercise for credit this week. If you need a reminder on how to get on Noteflight and input things, look for my Noteflight tutorials on this website.
