Percussion Ensemble

Welcome to Percussion Ensemble for the 2025-2026 year! I am so excited to have you in class! Below is the disclosure statement for percussion. It will have my grading scale, attendance policy, concert dress requirements, and any performance dates. I will hand a copy to your student on the first day of school. Please sign and return it by Friday, August 15th. Also, here is the supply list: a practice pad, a set of drumsticks, a pair of xylophone mallets, a black binder with 15-20 sheet protectors, and a pencil. If you have a metal glock (xylophone) please bring that too. Or for one of the returning percussion students bring your percussion kit. Please feel free to email me with any questions. If you are playing percussion, you will need a percussion kit with a practice pad, drumsticks, a metal glock (xylo), mallets, and a stand. (Just look on Amazon at percussion kit. You can also get them at any music store like Booth Brothers or Summerhays and even pawn shops.)
