Term 3 Book Report /State Report
Hello 5th Grade Families,
Reading Calendars
Please remind and encourage your student to read for 20-30 minutes every day. Please also sign and return their reading calendars by the end of the month. The book that they are reading for their book report can be used as minutes on their reading calendars.
Book Report
Term 3's Book report will contain three parts: the Report, Presentation, and PowerPoint. Instead of reading a certain number of books or pages, students will be required to use a certain number of resources. Students will complete their research using at least one book and 3 internet resources and complete a Bibliography. Students have already received a packet that needs to be completed at home. It will contain all of their research that needs to be done. Students will also need to prepare a PowerPoint presentation at home. This presentation will give a brief description of the project that your child has chosen to represent their state. (A description of what should be on each slide can be found in the instructions handed out with the book reports.

- Reports are due February 27th.
