5th Grade Band

Welcome to 5th Grade Band for the 2023-2024 year! I am so excited to have you in class! Below is the disclosure statement for band. It will have my grading scale, attendance policy, concert dress requirements, and any performance dates. Please go through it and digitally sign it by Friday, August 18th. Also, here is the supply list: your instrument, Traditions of Excellence book 1 (for your instrument), and a pencil. Please feel free to email me with any questions. If you are playing percussion, you will need a percussion kit with a practice pad, drumsticks, a metal glock (xylo), mallets, and a stand. (Just look on Amazon at percussion kit. You can also get them at any music store like Booth Brothers or Summerhays and even pawn shops.) Band will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00-2:45. Please make sure that you bring your instruments those days.
