MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES WINTER 2020-2021

This year as we approach Parent Teacher Conferences we are once again reminded of all of the changes that have occurred this year as a result of COVID – 19. To provide a safe and healthy environment for parents, students, and teachers, the Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences will be modified.

Regular open house meetings will not be possible.
This year Middle School Conferences will be scheduled. Since time will be limited with this new format, priority will be given to students in which it is necessary to the student’s success to meet with the teacher.

We ask that parents and students meet together to review the student’s growth and progress throughout the term and to create learning goals for the future.
Please use the Available Resources prior to contacting the teacher:
•       ASPIRE
•       ALEKS
•       TEACHER WEBSITES
•       CLASS DISCLOSURES
o       Please note that you may be referred to these resources by the teacher if applicable

If after conferencing together, parents and students find there is a need to contact the teacher we ask that you contact that teacher for an EMAIL CONFERENCE.
Email conferences can be done at any time and can address the needs of most students, such as:
•       Grading Questions
•       Current Progress
•       Classroom Procedures
•       And more…

It is not necessary to wait until the 24th for an email conference. You are welcome to contact the teachers earlier.

If AFTER conferencing with the teacher via email it is determined that a Scheduled Conference is necessary, please contact that teacher directly to schedule a Conference.
Meetings will be held February 24 and February 25. The format of the meeting will be determined by the teacher and could include Zoom, a Phone Call, or an In-Person Meeting.

ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Thank you for your understanding and support!

Remote Learners: Multimedia (2/3/21)

Make a project that has interactive buttons.  The buttons should change when you mouse over it and change again when you click it.  Make an animation that has at least 2 interactive buttons and 10 or more frames.  Here's a tutorial:

Make another project that has a clip that you can control using the arrow keys.  It should move right, left, up, and down.  It should also rotate when you move.  Follow the tutorial all the way to the end.  The code you write has to be exactly like the tutorial or it will not work.  I suggest having the tutorial open as well as Wick.  That way you can do each step as you watch it on the tutorial.  Here's the tutorial:

This will be due by Monday, Feb. 8

Here's how you send it to me:
