Remote Learners: STEM 9/1/20

We just started a new unit about architecture today.  We will be creating a floor plan on paper and then later creating a 3D drawing of your house.  Here is the lecture from today:
 

Draw a floor plan of a house with the required rooms (this is the minimum requirements, you can add extra rooms if you like):

3 bedrooms (must have a window and a closet)

2 bathrooms

Living Room

Kitchen

Laundry

Utility (water heater and furnace)

Storage

Garage

Remote Learners: Multimedia 9/1/20

We are starting a unit in photo editing using a website called Pixlr: http://pixlr.com.
The program is similar to Photoshop, but is all online.
 
I have attached 2 videos. Today we will be taking two or more images and combining them using tools in Pixlr.  Please follow along with the tutorial and start editing your first photo assignment. 
 
I will have some other videos with more instruction and how to share your work with me later on.

Remote Learners (STEM) Paper Airplane Challenge (8/31/20)

Dear STEM Students,
 
I have not received very many completed Paper Airplane Challenge projects.
Please watch the video below and complete the project.  I will give you an extra day to do this.

Remote Learners (Multimedia) Soundation (8/31/20)

Today is the last day to finish working on your Soundation project.  I will be grading them tomorrow.  There was one project that was turned in called "Reagan M Bla by OCCULT". I'm not sure whose song it is, so email me to let me know.

The next project will be completing the Paper Tower challenge.  I have included a link to the document called, "Paper Tower Challenge" below.  Please follow the instructions on the paper.  You will also download and print out a copy of the "Engineering Design Worksheet."  Fill it out to document the process you used to complete the Paper Tower challenge.  Then fill out the Google form below and include pictures of your planes.
