Hello!
I'm Mrs. Ahlborn and I teach K - 4th grade general music and 5th -8th grade orchestra.  Almost the entire school!!  I love music and sharing it with Reagan Academy students!  
 
5th and 6th grade orchestra students will use the book String Basics Book 1 by Jeremy Woolstenhume and Terry Shade. The 7th/8th graders will be using String Basics Book 2 and String Basics Book 3. 

I love working with my students and watching them grow!

5th grade/6th grade be here at 6pm to warm up - starts at 6:30pm
7th grade/8th grade be here at 7pm to warm up- starts at 7:30pm

6th Grade Pirate Video

We recorded the audio of us playing "Pirates of the Caribbean" and then we made a video to go along with it!

End of year Orchestra Concerts May 16th!

5th and 6th grade concerts start at 6:30pm.  Please have students to Reagan at 6pm to warm up.  Be sure to come sit in the auditorium while waiting and watch some of our class videos.
 
7th and 8th grade concerts start at 7:30pm.  Students need to be here around 7pm.

St Patrick's Day dance with guitar

Sometimes we just want to do something different like play the guitar and dance. These young women made up this dance while the rest of us sang and played guitar! Most learned how to play the guitar chords that day!
