Beauty and the Beast cast List
The cast list is up today. Thanks to all 83 students who auditioned. You were all fabulous and I wish I could have 83 Belle's and Beasts. Rehearsals will begin Thursday, September 6th from 2:45-4:15. I can work around volleyball, cross country and soccer if I know about it in advance. The coaches are also willing to work with the students in the play. I will send home a rehearsal calendar with the students on Thursday and I will also put it here next week. Please email me with any questions.
Beauty and the Beast Information Letter
Reagan Academy middle school will be performing "Beauty and the Beast Jr." as the after school play this year. The play will be performed on November 16, 17, and 19th. We will be holding auditions next Monday and Tuesday after school. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student is invited to audition. Auditions will be held after school and the sign-ups will be on the auditorium door starting tomorrow, Wednesday the 22nd. The flyer has all the information. Welcome Back!!
Welcome back! I will be posting syllabuses and information about "Beauty and the Beast" on the respective class pages. I am so happy to meet my new students and so glad to see my returning ones as well. Please email me with any questions!

Concert Forms Due!
I gave all your students this last week a concert form with all the information about their Spring concert. Please sign it and send it back with your student. Once again, here is a list of the concert and times.
Monday, May 14th- 6:30- 5th Grade Band; 7:30- Jazz Band and 6th Grade Band
Wednesday, May 16th- 6:30- 5th Grade Choir; 7:30- Middle School Choir

Concerts coming up!!

Spring Break!
Have a fabulous Spring Break and all 8th graders have a great time on the California trip! When we all return, we have a play that the theater classes are working on and concerts for all the music students. We will be busy!!
Talent Show tonight!
Our annual talent show is tonight at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm in the auditorium. Tickets are still available for $2 and can be purchased at the front office. All the proceeds go directly to our music department!
End of Term late work due!
All late or missing work is due by Monday at 3:00 pm. I will not be able to accept any late/missing work after that deadline.

Festival!
I sent home Festival permission slips today. Please sign them and have your student return them to me on Tuesday. If you need a school lunch, I need to know no later than next Thursday. Thanks so much!!
MUSIC MAN!
Reagan Academy presents the "Music Man Jr." We still have tickets for the Saturday shows, but we are sold out for tonight and Monday! We hope to see you there.
Music Man opens next Friday!
"The Music Man Jr." opens next Friday!! We will be having rehearsals next week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from after school until 6:00 pm. The show run Friday the 9th at 7:00 pm, Saturday the 10th at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Monday the 12th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 and can be bought from the front office. Get yours quickly as they sell out fast!
Music Man
This next week is the last week where we have 3 day rehearsals!
Starting Feb.5th we will have rehearsal Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6 pm. We will not have rehearsal on Thursday, Feb. 8th unless it is absolutely necessary. We will be having a costume parade on Thursday, February 1st to make sure that we have all the costume pieces we need for all the kids.
